First horror idea (continued)
Our idea then developed into using the old 'scores' of Lowestoft and Corton, and from this our idea developed into a post-apocalyptic/warfare theme. Our idea was to keep the antagonist or villain of our film as unknown and mysterious as possible, as we always hoped to create a fear of the unknown to our selected audience. After watching 'The Strangers' trailer, we believed that this was a very good film in order to base ours on, as it uses a sufficient amount of violence, in order to strike physical pain and terror into their victims. Also with the use of the masks, and ghostly figures which appear and disappear in the blink of an eye. We followed 'The Strangers' very closely, as the couple in that movie move into a new house, and we thought this could be a good basis to have, and like the strangers 'haunt' the individuals in the film, we thought we would have an individual (Diederich) who would haunt the individuals in our film.
